When you deliberate doodle you start by just drawing a deliberate yet random flowing line on your paper. Maybe I don’t really care! But I have love deliberate doodling. Now I am not a seansoned Zentangler but I am a seasoned deliberate doodler and quite honestly I can’t tell the difference. For Real! And its copyrighted! (see… I put the little copyright circle next to the name. When I googled it I discovered that there is a huge community devoted to the art of Zentangling! In her post she mentioned Zentangle ©, a phrase I had never heard before. So when I read the facebook post and saw her doodle I wanted to do one too. Fierce and black or delicate and ornate, but always black and white, my favorite combination. In my gourd art I do a lot of wood burning and I have always been moved by the tribal look (I loved when it became big in the tattoo world), the seemingly random movement of lines joined by other lines. That is what I am talking about and I forgot all about it until I started to deliberately doodle my name!! Fast Forward to Today and My art Not the best picture but you get the idea! You would draw his or her name on the outside of some notebook and then embellish it with all kinds of squiggles and swirls, and hearts.
