Using the sound transfer feature from Audiate and Camtasia results in incomplete wave files. The link between Camtasia and Audiate didn't work well. Like marking a specific part of the sound and only playback the marked partĤ.
The basic waveform editor is ok, but it lacks some standard features. But the result is good enough to continue processing the sound.ģ. The transcription feature is not doing a very good job. I have been preparing training sessions with a voice-over from a colleague of Indian descent. That was a real bummer when I had planned to use an 18h long flight to prepare a bunch of training videosĢ. an aircraft and work with it (even if you have prepared the file while you were online, and plan to finish the job while you are offline). Easy to auto remove audio from hesitations, repeated or superfluous words. I do hope they will support more accents in the future, address some of the current flaws, and also save processed data so you can use the features without being online all the time. You will need to go through the sound and restore the sound here and there. Don't expect a perfect result when you auto removes the hesitations. Summary: For being the first version of the tool it does a decent job. No more wasting hours looking through waveforms.
